English guide for new folk high school teachers
What is a folk high school? And what is the essence of folk high school pedagogy? Although there are no simple answers to that, this guide still dares to be rather concrete. In addition, the guide provides the teacher with specific ideas for the teaching, for morning assemblies, stories to tell and more with a specific focus on sustainability. Furthermore, the guide introduces the reader to a short version of N.F.S. Grundtvig’s thoughts on the folk high school and discusses them with a view to the present and from an international perspective.
